Last February Ottawa City Council decided that the new library would be built at 557 Wellington Ave. just west of Bronson Ave. We will be discussing the Library and Library issues at our AGM on October 17, 2017.
The CCCA has prepared a survey on the importance of library services in Centretown following the relocation.

When the Main Library moves from its present location to west of Bronson, it will no longer be within walking distance for us. My wife is 82, I am 89, we read a great deal at our age. To be able to pick up books and return them is very important for us. We are not sure what the future holds now with regard to reading material. It would be great if the present location of the library became a Branch Library
