DESCRIPTION:Based on local lore\, the play offers a peek into the lives of several families\, some long-established and some new to the area. These stories\, spoken and sung in various languages\, are woven together to show the diversity and resilience of this culturally rich neighborhood.\nOverbrook the Musical is the first theatre production of its kind in Ottawa. The entire production has been co-created with local residents: stories (both historic and recent) have been gathered\, the script was developed and songs were written\, all with/by residents.
