a) Fundraising Committee/Social/Fundraising Events – List of events.  K. Clancy/A. Gallacher (Committee Chair)
b) CCA Event Tent – Update from S. MacKay:  “Hello all, Unfortunately, I will not be able to make Tuesday’s upcoming Board meeting due to work. However, I would like the Board to review and approve the attached revised design of the proposed outdoor canopy. I’ve taken off the website address, and inserted our organization name in both French and English.” See Attachment No. 1.
c) Community Conversation Series – “Meet The Chiefs” on Feb. 25, 2020; Tenants Legal Rights Workshop on March 11, 2020.  Spring events.  S. Barber
d) Available Event Space at Imact Hub Ottawa – K. Clancy
e) New CCA Website – Update.  M. Sichel/K. Clancy/A. Nakanishi

6. Motions:

a) That CCA approves the design of the proposed outdoor canopy as presented in Attachment No. 1.

b) That CCA authorizes funds up to $500.00 from Tree Fund to pay for expenses related to hosting an Earth Day event in Dundonald Park in April, 2020 by the Trees & Greenspace Committee.  Expenses include advertising, posters, refreshments, e.g., popcorn maker rental fee, treats.

c) Whereas funds up to $400.00 from the Tree Fund have already been approved (on Oct. 15, 2019) to purchase a tent and/or canopy for Trees & Greenspace Committee events out of the Tree Fund, and
whereas the CCA Board has expressed interest in a customized CCA canopy at considerably greater cost,
the Trees & Greenspace Committee approves an additional $100.00 from the Tree Fund to contribute towards the cost of a customized tent/canopy provided:
1)  that this committee will have first priority to use the tent for three events per year, traditionally 2 days in the last 10 days of April, two days in the first two weeks of June and 2 days sometime in the three weekends in Sept after Labour day, and
2)  the customized tent is ordered in time for delivery by April 15, 2020 to be available for Earth Day event planned for April 25, 2020 (rain date 26th)

d) That the CCCA Board approves the submission of the letter on 246 Gilmour St.  See Attachment 7.

e) That the CCA Board approves the submission of the letter on 473 Albert St.  See Attachment 8.

7. Upcoming CCA Events:
a) Tuesday, Feb 25th, 2020 – 6:30-8:30 PM, Dominion-Chalmers Centre – ‘Making a Safe and Healthy Centretown’ with Ottawa Chief Medical Officer Dr. Vera Etches and the new Chief of the Ottawa Police Service Peter Sloly. Refreshments will be served, doors open at 6 pm.
b) Wednesday, March 11, 2020 – 6:00-7:00PM, Centretown Community Health Centre  – “Tenants Rights” presentation by University of Ottawa Community Legal Clinic
